About the event
Organized by Barev Centre, the Vardavar Festival brings one of Armenia’s oldest and most exhilarating traditions to Scarborough! Historically celebrated to welcome summer and foster community renewal, Vardavar transforms the church patio into a vibrant water-filled wonderland where splashing your neighbors is not just allowed—it's encouraged.
This festival is open to everyone across the Greater Toronto Area. Whether you're introducing your kids to traditional water games or simply looking for the ultimate way to beat the summer heat, this family-friendly event has something for everyone.
Event Attractions & Highlights:
Foam Party: Dance and dive through massive foam clouds courtesy of Foam Wizard.
Palm Tree Waterslide: Perfect for kids and teens wanting to splash down all afternoon.
Special Fire Truck Visit: A real fire truck rolls up at 1:30 PM to join the festivities and cool down the crowd.
